Development is intended to bring a positive change for human being and its surroundings. Development may take place by bringing about a change in policy, projects and legislation.

Balancing the fulfillment of human needs with the protection of the natural environment so that these needs can be met not only in the present, but in the indefinite future

Sustainable development has three main parts

Environmental Sustainability

Environmental sustainability involves making decisions and taking action that are in the interests of protecting the natural world, with particular emphasis on preserving the capability of the environment to support human life.

Economic sustainability

The use of various strategies for employing existing resources optimally so that a responsable and beneficial balance can be achieved over the longer term.

Sociopolitical sustainability

The ability of a community to develop processes and structures which not only meet the needs of its current members but also support the ability of future generations to maintain a healthy community.
